Invitation 01

This light weight invitation is as gentle as a bride's veil. The actual invitation is a delicate tissue covered with a translucent tissue enveloped with a heavier tissue, tied together with the sheerest of organza ribbon.

Print in black only, tissues are cream.

Invitation 02

This beautiful 3 panel petal paper surrounds a thick cream coloured vellum invitation printed in any ink colour of your choice. The invitation is completed by being wrapped in a soft gray organza ribbon.

Invitation 03 

This simple elegant invitations is a single card overlaid at the top with a translucent tissue (secured at the back) print.
Optional colors & optional ribbon available to tie around.

Invitation 04 

This stunning three panel style card consists of a full color background topped topped with the invitation printed on vellum. It is surrounded by a linear textured card stock, tied with a colourful ribbon.

Print in any colour (Pantone). Linear card stock available in mint, mushroom and white.

Invitation 05 

This two part card combines simplicity with old world charm. A simple card on the inside is surrounded by a classical oriental print on a vellum sleeve (centre fold) tied together with a beautiful organza ribbon.

Invitation can be printed in any colour.

This fun card is a matte gold background adorned with a raffia bow.

Invitation 07 

This unpretentious card is encircled by the the sheerest of tissues tied with an elegant patterned organza ribbon.

This exquisite card consists of the finest Japanese card stock with an embossed monogram in gold on the front. True simple elegance!

 Invitation 09

This invitation for a 50th wedding anniversary contained the couple's wedding photograph printed on vellum. The inside consists of a heavy multi-coloured Japanese paper with text printed in black and surrounded in gold and mounted on a linear textured card stock. Vellum is adhered to the textured card stock.

Invitation 10 

A three part, all natural paper invitation is an instant winner for those who want something different. This invitation was tinted with green accents and adorned with raffia. Although smaller in size than a regular invitation, it is very effective.

Invitation 11

 This sleek and long three part invitation, unique in shape, takes on a very elegant natural look. It consists of a natural background with a thin ecru tissue, covered with a quail egg tissue. A small chocolate bow adorns and finishes the look.

Special 01 

This beautiful square invitation was the result of a collaboration between Invitations by Design and an artistic client. The invitation was hand drawn and reproduced onto vellum, where afterwards it was painted. The inside consisted of a splendid pink invitation of Japanese paper mounted onto conventional card stock. The invitation is held together using a pull method knot with and elegant organza and satin ribbon.

As a final gesture, a delicate mist of Lily of the Valley perfume was sprayed inside. Print available in black only.

 A simple two part invitation with a water colour like background of Japanese paper. This invitation is very effective due to its simplicity and complimentary use of colours and texture.

S&T Floral 

This very elegant ensemble unique to Invitations by Design. The invitation consists of a two part system. The gentle background of cream linen is adorned with a leafy design in taupe hue. A beautiful monogrammed vellum cover is attached with a lovely organza ribbon.

A matching reception/response card completes this ensemble. Also available are vellum scrolls with this matching floral design menus and/or place scrolls.

Invitation 14

 This Photo invitation was printed on vellum over the printed invitation on Japanese paper stock, and tied with a pink bow. Special effect stepped morph was created in the Studio from photos supplied by the client.

Invitation 15 

This 7" x 7" three folds invitation features a photo of the guest of honour on the right panel, and a cultural symbol on left panel. The Invitation proper is printed on Japanese Ginwashi tissue attached to the centre panel. When folded this stunning invitation was secured with a wax seal embossed with the guest of honour's initial.

Photo Invitations 

These two part illustrated invitations consists of a photograph background of the betrothed couple with the top layer being the printed invitation onto a thick vellum, all tied together with an organza ribbon. The photo background can consist of colour, black & white or duotone effect in any base colour. The top layer is done with a white or cream vellum. Print and embellishments can be done in any colour.

This style of invitation has been used for wedding shower invitations using a childhood photograph of the bride.

Almost any type of photograph can be used. There are available many different styles of edge effect borders and shapes available.

Invitation 16

 Baby's foot prints forever adorn this cute Baby announcement. The announcement itself is printed on cream vellum in a lovely brown colour. The feet are scanned and tinted to suit. A black & white photograph decorates the front cover. A mushroom sandpiper lined texture card stock acts as the base.
